I went to "Itoman fisherman's dining room" in Itoman city, Okinawa, recommended by an acquaintance of Okinawa.I used to come for lunch several times before, but it was always full and it took a long time to wait, so I always gave up and returned. 😞However, this time I was lucky enough to enter the store 😄The menu is mainly fish dishes, but I was confused about the variety of dishes.After all, I ordered "Set meal with tuna araoni"! ️This restaurant is a popular restaurant that produces new seafood dishes using fresh island fish, taking advantage of the fact that the owner chef is from the local area and the parents' house is a fish broker. ‥Therefore, the chef's skill is good 💪, the ingredients are good, and there is no bad taste 😅♪ This shop is definitely recommended! ︎No! You can give everything a miss except the pan-fried fish w butter. That's the only dish that deserves the four star review. Staff not fluent with English, will face some slight troubles when trying to order as they have many types of fishes.

Be reminded to make a booking in advance. I haven't book so have to wait outside. Finally i gave up!

Staff cannot speak English so try your best to communicate what fish u want if u are ordering the butter fish as there will catch of the day on the chalkboard.there will be pictures where you can point at. The prices here are reasonable and if u are around the corner, you should go try. There is a also a stall next to the restaurant selling fish and other raw items. Take a look too!

Totemo Oishikatta! The Butter Yaki is amazing! The inside is kinda small but worth the wait for a table.

Waitress is very friendly. They do not express unhappiness and annoying attitude even though you can read their food list in menu. There is a English menu for you to order. Mainly selling seafood, especially fish. If you like to have whole fish for lunch or dinner. This is definitely a right place for you.

One of the best southern authentic contemporary Okinawa restaurants. Fresh Fish caught that day from nearby docks. Food Awesomely prepared and great atmosphere.

English menu is available. The butter fried fish was very well cooked. The appetizer and desert for the set meal was simple but thoughtful execution of the ingredients. Credit card payment is only available for dinner, so lunch is cash only. We also tried the sea grape don which was ok. Go for the fish. There are many sizes and options available. Prices for the fish set starts from 1,800 yen. Very good value for money.

Really good food! Must eat the fish dishes, especially the pan fried fish! We didn't know how to order the fish, so we pointed at other table's order. Hehe. Totally enjoyed the meal here! It's near the market which is worth a visit too!

This cozy restraint near southern beach hotle . They cook quite good fish dish and miso soup . For the foreigner maybe gonna feel confusion , bcz you need choose the fish by yourself for grill . Just ask the waitress for help and they they will give you some suggestion . Service is good as well .
